• Question: Why are planets round?

      The same reason bubbles are!
      It is the tightest possible configuration of particles in three dimensions!
      But! Because the Earth is spinning it bulges out at the sides so it isn’t perfectly round.

      P.s. some theorists think that it is possible to make a donut planet, but we haven’t seen any yet!

      Planets are round because of the way they formed. Like snowballs!
