      We don’t know!
I think there probably is, but there’s no way of knowing how much!
There are trillions upon trillions of stars, most of which have planets around them. The chances that another one of them has some form of life (I think) is pretty high.
We recently found water on Mars, which makes it a very strong candidate to host life. Not too long ago a picture came back of a sample of Mars’ soil, in that picture was what looked like some fossilised bacteria! Unfortunately, the picture was too low resolution to tell if it was real or not. But we should definitely keep looking!
      Fantastic question,
      Ryan

So far we’ve not found any bacteria in space but some experiments have been done on the International Space Station with E. coli bacteria (so bacteria have been to space).
