• Question: what would happen if there was no gravity in the universe? would the planets collide?

      There wouldn’t be any planets! There wouldn’t be any stars for that matter.
      If gravity didn’t exist there would be nothing to hold all the gas and dust together. We’d have lots of gas that would interact with tiny atomic forces, which would make tiny balls of gas!
      If gravity just stopped all of a sudden then the planets would all fly out of their orbits! Like when they do the hammer throw in the Olympics:

      Which means if two planets were unlucky enough (and there’s a good chance at least two would be) they would collide with a big crash!

      If there were no gravity then there would be no planets because anything with mass has gravity
