I have seen about 4 black hole pairs collide. (Which have left 4 bigger black holes)
Then there are about 4 close by that I have seen with a telescope:
      – Cygnus-x1 (my fave black hole!)
      – V616 Mon
      – V404 Cyg
      – XTE J1550-564
      .
There are also really big black holes in the centre of galaxies! I have seen a lot of those 🙂 The one in the center of our a galaxy is called SagitariusA*
      .
We think there are up to 10 million black holes in our galaxy alone, but they’re so dark we can’t see them to test what they’re like!
      Great Question,
      Ryan 😀
